John_Lithgow: This weekend: Sun Valley Writers Conf. Friday, Creative Arts Emmys Sat., then back to Sun Valley. I'll try to win one for #Dexter.

John_Lithgow: Some w/e: visits with sister, mother, daughter-in-law and 2 granddkids, and a goddaughter's wedding. 6 plane rides to get there and back.

John_Lithgow: Countdown to end of my part in APES. Such a cool gig. James Franco, Frieda Pinto, Rupert Wyatt, all so fine. Me? Addled and pathetic.

John_Lithgow: SBH in Whitefish MT last night, a benefit for their Alpine Theatre Project, friend David Ackroyd's terrific summer theatre. Go see 'em.

John_Lithgow: Word has spread of my October STORIES BY HEART tour gigs. Will there be one near you? This you gotta see.

John_Lithgow: All who tweeted S.Martin, pat yoursleves on the back (that's the prize). Fine guy with great taste in hats.

John_Lithgow: Only one correct guess. More hints: I was the one cut out, he was the star, and we both have gray hair.

John_Lithgow: Great news, that Brian Cox will be in the film, he of the big, meaty face. Usually there's only room in a movie for one of us.

John_Lithgow: Another father-son scene today. A beautiful re-write arrived yesterday like a Christmas present. BTW, JF and I are distinctly not apes.

John_Lithgow: A nice day of kudos, but why is #Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter still not nominated for anything?
